As of March 1st, 2023 Harry Fine is no longer providing legal services. A member of the Law Society of Ontario, in 2018 Harry was honoured with the Law Society’s prestigious William J. Simpson Distinguished Paralegal Award. He is one of only 7 paralegals to receive that honour.

Harry’s unique perspective comes from having sat on both sides of the bench. This makes him the perfect interview when factual and practical information is required. It’s balanced and up-to-date. Harry’s clients include both landlords and tenants, including both small and institutional landlords.

Harry taught law related subjects to aspiring paralegals at Humber College and George Brown college, including residential tenancy law. Harry served as President of the Landlord’s Self-Help Centre, the only legal clinic for landlords funded by Legal Aid Ontario. He also sat on industry volunteer boards. He acted as director of both the Ontario Paralegal Association and the Paralegal Society of Ontario.

As an active paralegal, Harry had a coveted seat on the Landlord and Tenant Board’s stakeholder advisory committee, providing input to the Board Chair and staff on issues that affect clients.

Harry has appeared live on CBC TV News and on CityTV. He has been interviewed on various Toronto radio stations. He has also been a guest on numerous local cable shows. He’s been published in feature articles in several Toronto newspapers and real estate publications. On the social media front, Harry has a large following on Twitter Youtube, TikTok, WeChat and Xiǎohóngshū.

Living in downtown Toronto, Harry is readily available for live media interviews. Media calls or emails are always returned quickly respecting your deadlines.
